Rapid Structural Engineers is an introductory service and does not undertake or perform any engineering services directly. The engineers referred through our service are independent contractors and are not employees or agents of Rapid Structural Engineers.

1 CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCEPTANCE

By engaging with Rapid Structural Engineers and using our referral services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

2 INDEPENDENT AGREEMENTS

Any agreements for engineering services will be made directly between you and the referred engineer. Rapid Structural Engineers is not a party to these agreements and holds no responsibility for the terms, performance, or outcomes of these contracts. It is essential that you thoroughly review and understand the terms of the agreement with the referred engineer before proceeding.

3 NO LIABILITY FOR ENGINEER’S WORK

Rapid Structural Engineers shall not be liable for any errors, omissions, or negligence by the referred engineers. This includes but is not limited to financial costs arising from redesigns, structural damage, personal injury, or property damage resulting from the engineer’s work. Any disputes or claims related to the engineering services must be addressed directly with the engineer or engineering firm.

4 INSURANCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

The referred engineers are expected to hold appropriate insurances and qualifications as per industry standards. This typically includes being a chartered engineer and holding professional liability and indemnity insurances sufficient for the scope of works. Evidence of qualifications, certifications, and past work can be provided upon request. However, Rapid Structural Engineers does not independently verify these qualifications or insurance details, and it is the client’s responsibility to request and review this documentation.

5 DUE DILIGENCE

While Rapid Structural Engineers takes precautions to refer qualified engineers, it remains the client’s responsibility to perform due diligence before entering into any contractual agreement with the referred engineer. This includes verifying the engineer’s credentials, experience, and suitability for the specific project requirements.

6 PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

Rapid Structural Engineers does not provide professional engineering, legal, financial, or taxation advice. Clients are advised to seek specific professional advice tailored to their individual circumstances before relying on any information or services received through Rapid Structural Engineers. Any reliance on information provided by Rapid Structural Engineers is at the client’s
own risk.

7 ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accepting our services after we have sent you an email with this attached disclaimer, or by explicitly acknowledging this disclaimer in the short form engagement with the referred engineer, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. Your continued use of our referral services constitutes acceptance of this disclaimer and all associated terms and conditions.

8 LIABILITY

Rapid Structural Engineers’ liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our referral services or the performance of the referred engineers.
